Utah
Utah is at the top of my list of states I haven't been to, but would like to visit. Arches and Zion National Parks are calling my name!
I selected Wasatch Roasting, a fairly new roaster out of Ogden, UT. For whatever reason, most of the roasters in Utah had high limits on free shipping, Wasatch included, so I ended up getting a single 2lb bag of their Java roast.
This roast tastes really chocolatey; the aftertaste would be hard to distinguish from taking a bite out of a Hershey bar. It also has some strong acidity, and a lingering bitterness which takes away a bit from the experience (that may be an artifact my pour over technique though.) Overall an enjoyable flavor!
